The professional standard for attention support in schools
Professional learning

Training teachers actually use on Monday.

Four or more live sessions each month: core training, topic deep dives, Q&A, and office hours. Every session is recorded, so staff who cannot attend live still get the material.

Curriculum

Four areas, taught in rotation all year.

01 · Understand attention

See what may be driving the problem.

  • ADHD beyond hyperactivity
  • Inattentive patterns that are easy to miss
  • When attention looks like motivation or behavior
02 · Support executive function

Help students start, remember, organize, and finish.

  • Task initiation and breaking work down
  • Working memory and multi-step directions
  • Organization, planning, routines, and time
03 · Respond to regulation & behavior

Respond without making a hard moment harder.

  • Transitions, overload, frustration, impulsivity
  • "Won't" versus "can't yet"
  • Calmer first responses and less escalation
04 · Build the right support

Know what support belongs where.

  • Classroom strategies and accommodations
  • 504 plans and IEPs
  • Clearer conversations with families and support teams
Who teaches it

Led by a special educator, not a lecturer.

Attention-Ready Schools is led by Eva Luther, BCBA, a special educator with more than 30 years of experience supporting students with attention, executive function, and behavior needs — and training the adults around them.

Attention-Ready Schools provides educator professional learning and certificates of completion. In-service credit depends on the requirements of the educator's school, district, or approved professional-learning system. The Attention Institute can work with district professional-learning teams on course documentation and alignment.
